Recently, the Yinbao Sheyang 450MW Fishery-Solar Synergy PV Project with 100-Village Collaboration, constructed under the leadership of SDEPCI, held its groundbreaking ceremony in Sheyang County, Yancheng City.Deng Xiaofeng, Deputy Secretary-General of the Yancheng Municipal Party Committee, attended and announced the commencement of the project. Leaders including Yang Jianwen (Party Secretary and Chairman of Yinbao Group) and Liu Yuanbing (Party Committee Member and Deputy General Manager of SDEPCI) participated in the activity.

This project is constructed by making use of the pond water surface of the Sheyang Saltworks. It adopts the "PV generation above, aquaculture below" fishery-solar synergy model where power generation can be carried out above the water surface and aquaculture can be conducted below. The step-up substation, operation center, renovation of fishery ponds and other auxiliary projects will be constructed simultaneously. Through innovative design optimization, the project integrates photovoltaic power generation with aquaculture to achieve maximized land resource utilization, driving a dual win for ecological preservation and economic benefits.  

The project has been selected as a 2025 Jiangsu Provincial Major Project. Upon completion, it is expected to generate 630 million kWh of electricity annually and reduce approximately 568,000 tons of CO₂ emissions.During project construction, SDEPCI will fully leverage its professional strengths in survey design, technology integration, and resource coordination. Under the leadership of the owner unit and with support from all participating entities, the institute will implement meticulous planning and scientific organization to deliver a high-quality benchmark project. This initiative aims to set a model for rural energy revolution and contribute to the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas.
