Engineering Service(Calculation report) for Aboitiz Bay 20MW/20MWh BESS Project Tender Notice

1.      Tender conditions

The Bay Battery Energy Storage System is a 20 MW rated power capacity and 20MWh rated energy capacity at the end of life that will provide Secondary Reserve Ancillary Service (SRAS) and Primary Reserve Ancillary Service (PRAS) to the Luzon Grid (the “Project”). It will be located in the Municipality of Bay, Laguna Philippines for AP Renewables Inc., (APRI), one of the Business Units of Aboitiz Power Corporation. It consists of three systems: (i) battery storage system, i.e., lithium-ion batteries, battery racks and battery management system; (ii) power conversion system (PCS), i.e., DC/AC inverters, low to medium voltage transformers; and (iii) hybrid connection facility/system, i.e., line and equipment protection, SCADA and Energy Management System, system integration and hardware modification, control system, telecoms and metering, hybrid connection lines from BESS to the Power Plant.

2.      Project briefing and tender scope

Capacity: 20 MW / 20 MWh, BESS Component Project

Scope: This tender project is for the calculation report includes System Impact Study for the AP Bay 20MW/20MWh BESS (APRI Makban Plant A): 1. Themal and Voltage Analysis 2. Short Circuit Analysis 3. Dynamic Stability Analysis 4. Frequency Assessment 5. Power Quality Study 6. Load flow study 7. Protection Coordination Study 8. Arc Flash Study.

3.      Bidder Qualification requirements

The Bidder shall meet the following conditions:

(1) Basic qualifications requirements

l No consortium is allowed to bid in this bidding.

l The Bidder must be a validly existing company incorporated in Philippine with legitimate cooperative status.

l The Bidder is operating well without ordered cessation of business, takeover or freezing of asset, and bankruptcy.

 (2) Special qualification requirements

l The Bidder should have experience of design studies and calculations for energy storage power plants in the Philippines.

 

4.      Obtainment of bidding documents

Time of obtainment: 09:00, 17/January /2025 -17:00, 20/ January /2025

Form of obtainment: The tenderee will issue the Bidding Documents by electronic mail to potential bidders. There is no charge for bidding documents.

5.      Submission of bidding documents

Deadline submission: 09:00 a.m, 22/ January /2025, Philippine time
