On May 15, China Electric Power Planning & Engineering Association issued a notice titled Notice on Announcing the Winning Projects of Excellent Survey, Excellent Engineering Design, Excellent Standard Design and Excellent Computer Software in the Electric Power Industry in 2023. SDEPCI has won a total of 20 project awards, among which 13 projects won the first prize, achieving the best result in recent years.

In this selection, for the first time, SDEPCI won first prizes in all three sub-groups of Excellent Survey, namely engineering survey, geotechnical engineering, and hydrometeorology, as well as in all five sub-groups of Excellent Engineering Design, including thermal power engineering, new energy engineering, substation engineering, power transmission engineering, and communication automation engineering. Moreover, following 2022, it once again won first prizes for two thermal power projects, fully demonstrating SDEPCI's profound background and tremendous strength in various fields of engineering survey, design, and EPC.

Next, SDEPCI will continue to carry out innovation and excellence activities around engineering projects, develop and apply new technologies, new processes, new equipment, and new materials. It will continuously contribute Four Excellences achievements with advanced technologies and great economic social benefits, and demonstrate greater achievements in promoting the implementation of China's energy security strategy, advancing the construction of new power system, and achieving high-quality development of the industry.
