On July 12, SDEPCI (SDEPCI)'s Vice General Manager, Mr. Sun Ligang, held a meeting with the Governor of Kisii canton,Mr. Simba Arati, and his delegation from the Republic of Kenya.

　　During the meeting, Mr. Sun Ligang extended a warm welcome to the Kenyan government delegation and provided an overview of SDEPCI's development history, organizational structure, business type, management concept, business capacity, and typical performance. He highlighted the company's investment, construction, and operational capabilities in the electric power industry and expressed his hope for both parties to quickly engage in meaningful cooperation, facilitate project implementation, and make positive contributions to the friendship and development of China and Kenya.
　　Mr. Simba Arati expressed gratitude towards SDEPCI for their warm welcome. He introduced the energy development needs and power planning of Kisii Canton and hoped for further communication and project cooperation between both parties. Mr. Arati highly praised China's development speed and high-quality development level. He also congratulated SDEPCI for completing the construction of the 100MW PV plant in just 81 days without any safety or quality accidents. After the visit concluded, Mr. Arati conveyed that the government is fully committed to facilitating the implementation of the project and supports SDEPC in establishing demonstration and benchmarking projects throughout Africa. The government will provide all necessary facilities in terms of investment, construction, and operation.
　　Following the meeting, Mr. Arati, Vice Governor of Kisii Canton, and the Speaker of the Canton Council, along with other government officials, went on a visit to the Shouguang Houzhen 100 MW fishery and solar PV plant. They were accompanied by managers from SDEPCI's international business department, new energy business department, and relevant personnel.
