At 16:58 on December 30, 2022, the demonstration project of energy storage and peaking power station in Wei Shan County, Ji Ning City, which was general contracted by Shandong Institute, was connected to the grid in one high standard.

　　 The Wei Shan project is located in Wei Shan County, Ji Ning City, with a construction scale of 100MW/200MWh lithium iron phosphate battery energy storage and 1MW/2MWh solid state battery advanced energy storage demonstration. The project is invested and constructed by China Power New Source Smart Storage, with a planned site area of about 17568m² and a total investment of 430 million RMB. This project is the first integrated power station of multiple energy storage types in China, the first domestic energy storage demonstration project using solid-state batteries, the first domestic energy storage demonstration project applying factory prefabricated battery silo foundation, and the first high-standard one-time grid-connected handover production project in Shandong Province in this year.

　　 Under the great care and support of the construction side and the leaders at all levels in SDEPCI, the project department, together with relevant departments, pioneered innovation, forged ahead, overcame the epidemic and rose to the challenge, showing the results of the process and enhancing our professional status in the field of energy storage. With the full cooperation of the design and procurement departments, the project department gave full play to the advantages of our general contracting with design as the leader, and achieved the "new progress" of having the energy storage project ready for grid connection in 6 months; the project department coordinated the whole planning, and made every effort to promote the project, and achieved the "new speed" of grid connection in more than 30 days after the approval of the access plan. "New speed". In the process of project execution, the project department, together with the business division, organized the "Image Creative Enhancement Plan", "Negative List of Energy Storage Power Station" and "Project Excellence Plan", strictly controlled the safety and quality of the project, continuously optimized the schedule, saved the project cost and maintained the environment of residents with green construction, which was highly evaluated by all parties.

　　 The successful commissioning of the Wei Shan project is in line with the strategic goal of "three creations and two transformations" of the Institute and the "2035 first-class strategy" of the Group, and will help speed up the restructuring of energy in Shandong Province and promote the early realisation of "peak carbon neutral". The successful grid connection of the Wei Shan project opens a new chapter in the expansion of the energy storage market for Xinyuan Zhi Storage and lays a solid foundation for the subsequent cooperation between the Institute and Xinyuan Zhi Storage.
