On November 4, China Construction Enterprise Management Association announced the List of Selected Projects for the Second Batch of the 2018-2019 National Quality Engineering Award.
The China Coal XinjieLixinBanji Coal Power Integration Project and the State Investment Meizhou Bay 2×1000MW Green Construction Demonstration Project contracted using EPC mode won the "Gold Award" of the National Quality Engineering (Domestic Engineering). The 2018-2019 National Quality Engineering Gold Medal for domestic projects was awarded to a total of 28 projects in the country, which covers a wide range of fields such as petroleum, iron, and steel, chemical industry, extra-high voltage, nuclear power, hydroelectric power, three thermal power, transportation, and construction. Among the three thermal power projects, SDEPCI occupies two.
The survey and design of the Huaneng Shandong Ruyi Pakistan Sahiwal 2×660MW Coal-fired Power Station Project won the Gold Award of the National Quality Engineering(overseas projects); there's a total of four overseas projects selected this year, and this project is the only overseas thermal power projects that won the award.
At the same time, there are six project surveyed and designed by the SDEPCI has won the National Quality Engineering, including"Turn on the large generator set and shut down the small generator set（TLSS)" expansion project for HuanengLaiwu million units Power Plant, Qinghai Xining Thermal Power Plant TLSS construction, DatangBinzhou 2 × 350MW cogeneration power plant TLSS construction, Shandong DatangLinqing Thermal Power Plant TLSS project, Zhisheng - Mizhou 500kV transmission line project, and Shandong Huimin 500 kV transformer substation project. Up to now, the number and quality of awards won by SDEPCI ranked first in the industry.
The National Quality Engineering Award was Established in 1981. It is the earliest established, highest specification, trans-industry, trans-professional national quality award in the field of engineering construction in China, as confirmed by the State Council. The honor of the National Quality Engineering Gold Medal is awarded to the particularly outstanding ones among the awarded projects, and the competent unit is the National Development and Reform Commission. The scope of the award covers a wide range of fields such as petroleum, iron and steel, chemical industry, extra-high voltage, nuclear power, hydroelectric power, thermal power, transportation, and construction.
This year, a total of three projects of SDEPCI won the National Quality Engineering Gold Medal, which is the only survey and design enterprise in the industry that has won the National Quality Engineering Gold Medal for both domestic and overseas thermal power projects. At the same time, six projects were selected for the National Quality Engineering Award, the number and quality of awards hit a record high, fully reflecting the first-class survey and design level and EPC general contracting and project management capability of Shandong Institute.
