At 16:16 PM of June 8th, 2017, the 2# Unit of Pakistan Sahiwal 2×660MW Coal Fired Power Project, of which the main structure design was in the charge of Shandong Electric Power Engineering Consulting Institute Co., Ltd (hereinafter called the “SDEPCI”) successfully passed trial running with full load for 168 hours.

Since the 1# unit passed the trial running with full load for 168 hours on May 24th, only half a month later, 2# unit has passed the trial running with full load for 168 hours again with various fine indicators and good running condition, and it has been officially handed over for production.

Pakistan Sahiwal power plant has been put into power generation so far after 22 months and 8 days, 6 months earlier than original plan, becoming the first power plant project with two units being put into production on “China - Pakistan Economic Corridor” and performing a miracle of two units being put into production within “22.5 Months”, which brought the honor for our country.
