
Shendong Shangwan Power Plant 2×150 MW Project, located at Ejin Horo Banner, Ordos, Inner Mongolia, was a comprehensive environmental protection project which was invested by Shenghua Group in response to the call of the nation on energy-saving & emission-reduction as well as closing down the outdated production facilities. It was contracted by SDEPCI on EPC basis. Shangwan power plant was under continuous and stable operation for 351 days from Oct.30, 2010 (the second startup) to Oct.15, 2011, which set the longest record for low-grade coal firing CFB unit in China. This project won the National High Quality Electric Power Plant prize.
