
Hami Dananhu Power Plant 2×300MW Project, located at Huayuan town, Hami, Xinjiang Autonomous Region, was a key energy project of national Eleventh Five-year Plan. It was a power plant construction project for “Electricity Transmission from Xinjiang to Eastward”. Dananhu Power Plant was a large newly-built mine-mouth power plant with a planned capacity of 3240MW, reserving for expansion conditions. For phase I, 2×300MW subcritical air-cooling coal-fired units were constructed by SDEPCI on EPC basis. The two units were put into operation in Sept. and Dec. 2011 respectively.
