The project is located in Candiota, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The investor is Brazil Tractebel Energia Company owned by French GDF SUEZ Group. It is a coal power plant with the largest contract value in the history of economic cooperation between China and Brazil. The EPC contract was signed in Nov. 2014.
