Huaneng Weihai Power Plant Phase II 2×300MW Project, was commenced in Mar. 1996 and completed in Dec. 1998. The ladder-style layout was adopted for the general layout, and advanced technologies including seawater once-through circulating and cooling, intermediate exhaust air feeding powder of ball pulverizer, separate handling of ash and slag, ash removal of low-concentration seawater. After the foundation treatment, the ash yard of Phase I was taken as the coal yard of this phase, which reduced an occupation of land area of 24,000㎡, so as to effectively protect the land resources and reduce the environmental pollution. The project won the first prize of Excellent Project Design of State’s Electric Power Company in 1999, and won the gold medal of the 19th national excellent project design in 2000.
