    Vice president Dai received the delegation of Korea Electric Power Technology Co., Ltd led by Mr. Song Renhui in the meetingroom 1302 on the morning of november 20, 2007. Friendly talks and further discussions on the nuclear power, new energy resource power generation etc had been conducted between the two parties which deepened their understandings with each other.
    Vice president Dai Xichen hoped that a harmonious and stable cooperation platform that could be built by our two parties to enhance the communications, create a more wide development space and win more significant achievements. Mr. Song expressed agreements on this and said that our two parties could create win-to-win situations by giving full play to advantages under mutual trust and common development directions.
    Finally, Mr. Dai and Mr. Song signed the Framework Agreement on SDEPCI and KOPEC on behalf of their parties which opened the door for the cooperaion and development of both parties, deepened friendship and met the requirements of mutual trust and common development.

   Background materials: KOPEC, the wholly-owned subsidiary of Korea Electric Power Corporation is the largest corporation engaging in electric power engineering design, consulting and project EPC. KOPEC enjoyed great reputation in Korea whose business has touched many fields such as nuclear power, thermal power, transmission and transformation, enviromental and new energy resources etc with more than 80% market shares in Korea.

    Since October 21, 2007, Ms.Gai leading our delegation visited EDF of France officially. During the visit, great achievements had been reached by their busy schedule and rich program.. The delegation of Ms. Gai had visited some thermal power plants, nuclear power plants in France and had enough communication with the senior administrative staff from power operation, design, procurement and stratagic management departments etc from EDF and discussed with the experts on the issues of engineering design, procurement and corporation stratagies etc.
    In recent years, EDF has participated in developing nuclear power, thermal power activities energetically in China which has made great contributions to the China Electric Power cause. Furthermore, SDEPCI has conducted extensive communication and cooperation acitivities with EDF of France, Worley Parsons of USA, CVRD, PROMON of Brazil etc to develop the international business.
    During the visit, the delegation led by Ms. Gai also were invited to visit the ALSTOM and EnBW of France.

    Ms.Gai investigated in the site of Jiayuguan Jiugang Project on Ocotobor 19, 2007. During the investigation, Ms. Gai cared about the working staff’s work and living situations very much and approved their achievements. Ms. Gai also encouraged them to continue to work hard on the various work berfore operation stage and promote the spirit of Jiugang to satisfy our people of Jiayuguan.

    On August 28, 2007, The opening ceremony for the founding of SDEPCI Beijing Branch has been held grandly which is one more important measure to build the new service platform and provide top-quality service for our clients based on our corporation’s development thoughts-make nuclear power projects in datail, make thermal power projects strong and powerful and power grid professional and practical.
   

    Mr. Wang Binghua, the President of State Nulcear Power Technology Co., Ltd investigated SDEPCI as a group of 7 people to direct our work.on October 10, 2007.
    In the afternoon of 10th,  Mr. Wang Binghua, the president and Mr. Sun Hanhong, the vice general manager and other leaders of the delegation attended the speical conference held by SDEPCI and received the special reports and Mr. Wang Binghua addressed an important speech in the meeting. In the special conference attended by the high-ranking cadres, Mr. Weisuo, the human resource director of  State Nuclear Power Technology Co., Ltd annonced the appointment of State Nuclear Power Technology Co., Ltd. that Mr. Zhang Fubao served as the vice president of SDEPCI(temperily); Ms. Gai and Mr. Zhang gave their commitment speeches respectively. Mr. Leiming, the secretary of the party committee presided the conference.
    In the speech addressed by Mr. Wang Binghua, he analyzed the missions and work pressures confronted by State Nuclear Power Technology Co., Ltd profoundly; emphasized that SDEPCI  shall strive to improve the design ability of nuclear power project and the ability of assimilation and creation. Meanwhile, SDEPCI shall continue to conduct the conventional power station and power grid business well and handle these three relashionships well to have a common development and make contributions to the State Nuclear Power Cause.
    

  In the Fourth National Youth English Proficiency Contest- Beijing Final, 23 competitors of Jinan performed outstandingly . They have won the First Prize, eight ones  the Second Prizes, seven ones the Third Prize and four the Excellent Prize.

  September 4th professor Meng- the routine director of China corporate culture institute inspected SDEPCI and proposed the reasonable suggestions. Party secretary Mr. Lei accompanied this inspection.

  August 25th -26th, Mr. LEE- secretary of discipline committee of SNPTC inspected SDEPCI. This inspection was the maid investigation to the subordinate enterprise since SNPTC has been established.

    On the evening of 28th September, crowded with people, the open parking ground of SDEPCI was as bright as in the daytime. In the festive air set off by sparkling fancy lanterns and bright music, SDEPCI saw the grand opening of Staff Theatrical Festival Celebrating the 58th Anniversary of the Founding of China. The contingent of cadres and workers enjoyed a happy get-together so as to celebrate the birthday of our motherland. Wei Suo, who is the director of Human Resource Department of State Nuclear Power Technology Co., Ltd. together with other leaders including the director of Public Relation Department Xing Yucheng came to the scene.
     Secretary of the Party Committee Lei Ming’s oration was made before the start of the performance. It was pointed out in his speech that this year was the year witnessed the grand opening of 17th CPC National Congress, and the year testified the stable fast and harmonious development of SDEPCI. Thanks to the support of leaders of various levels; Thanks to the hard work and the devotion of our colleague; and thanks to the practice of the culture of sincerity, without which the numerous achievements of our institute could never been accomplished. Secretary Lei suggested that this Staff Theatrical Festival was a great interpretation of our enterprise spirit “sincerity, creation, exceeding”. He also called for the contingent of cadres and workers continued to practice the “sincerity” culture actively. With the improvement of the team quality and the enhancement of the sense of commitment, we should continue to create wonders of self-transcendence in order to make a great contribution to the economy and energy development in China.
     The performance began with a chorus named “the Song of Sincerity” which was followed by Peking opera, songs and dances, witty skits, acrobatics, raps, three-and-half and so on. The theatrical festival insisted on the guidelines of ‘self-made, self-perform, and show the self’. With the careful preparation of each department and the hard effort of all performers, the theatrical festival, which was abundance and infectious, reflected the worklife and everydaylife of staff and emphasized the theme of “Sing the Praise of Our Grate Motherland, Carry Forward the Culture of Sincerity, Show Our Exciting Life” successfully. The performers used their own way to praise the splendid achievements of our motherland, to express everybody’s patriotism, and to show the charm of sincerity culture. The performance also displayed the cohesiveness and the centripetal force of our enterprise and exhibited the happy pursue of our employees. Applauses and laughs always accompanied during the two-and-half hours show. The interactions between performers and audience incessantly brought the show to the climax. Especially, the improvisation chorus “Union is strength” sang by the leaders of our institution and members of the study group from State Nuclear Power Technology Co., won the audience’s ovation. Finally, the staff theatrical festival rounded off in the song “Ode to the Motherland”
