SDEPCI passed the ISO9001:1994 quality management system certification in as early as 1996 and passed the ISO9001:2000 certification in 2002.
In 2004, SDEPCI, as the first in the trade, launched a management system integrating 3 standards, i.e. ISO9001 (for quality management), ISO14001 (for environment management) and GB/T28001 (for occupational health and safety management), which is led by ISO9004:2000 Quality Management Systems – Guidance for Performance Improvement. The aforesaid integrated management system achieves certification in 2005 and covers the full scope of SDEPDI’s business of survey, design, consulting, EPC contracting, supervision and enterprise management.
As the first in China’s power project survey and design sector, SDEPCI has established a set of complete quality management arrangement for EPC projects, for which, SDEPCI was awarded First Prize for business administration modernization and innovation in China's power industry in 2003.
